How To Get Out Of Your Own Way – An Interview with Tripp Lanier of The New Man Podcast

  • Tripp Lanier

On this episode of the Inner Gladiator podcast, I brought in the host of a favorite podcast of mine, Tripp Lanier. He hosts The New Man Podcast - a podcast that helps guys go beyond the macho jerk and the new age wimp.

His standpoint on masculinity is similar to Inner Gladiator’s: you’re in charge of your own life and you’re responsible for making the changes you want to see.

So, in this podcast, we go into how to become your own inner authority and get out of your own way.

Specifically in this podcast, you’ll learn:

    • Why you need to be careful of your “panic zone” and how to avoid (hint: it’s close to your comfort zone)
    • How to get out of your own way and stop limiting yourself from reaching your goals
    • The trap that most guys make with their goals and what you can do about it
    • How to become your own inner authority and start being an independent thinker
    • The reason most guys over-complicate their life purpose and how they can find it
    • and some fun humor from Tripp and myself

This podcast is also available to download on iTunes for your convenience.

    Awesome podcast Max.

I liked the concept of taking care of yourself being one of the greatest gifts you can give to the world.

It is so true about the fear of success. It has never went away when i think to do something new I start turning 20 years in to the future, and creating potential problems that might never happen.

We do tend to try target our lives towards avoidance versus what we really want. It is crazy how our minds are wired to do the opposite of what really needs to be done.

In the movie, After Earth with Will Smith he gives a cool speech on this exact concept.
